It was clear that the writer was very into physics as all of that feels well explored and makes a ton of sense also the chinese historical element was something I had never really read before in a sci fi and I absolutely need more of it. That kill me inside and took me out of this otherwise amazing sci fi.

Like during the comunication with aliens they are able to quickly translate the communications and vis versa for the human messages. There are flaws, stuff that made no sense to me. And then in a later part, a group of people were talking about the game and were like: 'It's isn't a game for the simple minded, they find it boring und uninteresting.' So uhm, I was insulted by a book and I loved it. Let me just say, it would be boring as hell, at least for me. In a part of the book there is this VR game that our MC plays to figure out a mystery and although the game is interesting to listen to aka read about him playing and I found myself imagining the game. I really don't want to ruin the mystery so I won't write too much about it but I have to talk about a certain part that caught me off guard. I'd say you have to be smart to really enjoy the story and the more complex details but I'm dumb as hell and I still really enjoyed the whole thing.

It's a hard science fiction with lots of historical elements and some mystery. So I can't really talk about without spoilers but I'll try my best because this book is just incredible.
